Festival of Togetherness, Joy, Learning and Sharing
The Mandala Festival is a subtle channel that manifested in the year 2016 towards quenching the curiosity as to what Mandalas were. It started as a WhatsApp group encompassing 150 people in the year 2016
In 2018 it slowly transformed and manifested into a gathering where people came together in joy to celebrate and learn in togetherness.
By 2019, it became a powerful manifestation and was conducted in an auditorium in Coimbatore.
2020, as the whole world emoted and lived on a virtual platform to connect to their loved ones, the festival fulfilled its core values and learnings on a virtual platform as well.
In 2021& 2022 there was Satsungh, presentations, performances, exhibitions, and togetherness gathering @ Pavithram, it was a 2 week long meet. Here is a small video snippet of it.
It is a Satsungh, where people gather to share joy, seek truth, and to reiterate, experience and become aware of the essence of the mandala and togetherness.
Speakers and performers who have expertise in different genres and subjects of life share their ideologies, experiences, and knowledge.
One of the main objectives of the festival is to bring to visibility the Mandalas that different people create, maintain, and navigate through.
Mandala festival 2022 is a culmination of a virtual meeting on the 15th of October evening, a Live gathering at Pavithram on the 16th morning, and the Bajans mandala, on the 16th Evening at Chinmaya Kripa Ashram, NGGO colony, Coimbatore, and a white water rafting expedition @ Ganga-Alaknanda - Rishikesh for 4 days.

संगच्छध्वं संवदध्वं
सं वो मनांसि जानताम्
देवा भागं यथा पूर्वे
सञ्जानाना उपासते ||

devā bhāgaṃ yathā pūrve
sañjānānā upāsate ||
May you move in harmony, speak in one voice; let your minds be in agreement; just as the ancient gods shared their portion of sacrifice.
समानो मन्त्र: समिति: समानी
समानं मन: सहचित्तमेषाम्
समानं मन्त्रमभिमन्त्रये व:
समानेन वो हविषा जुहोमि ||
samāno mantraḥ samitih samānī
samānaṃ manaḥ sahacittameṣām
samānaṃ mantramabhimantraye vaḥ
samānena vo haviṣā juhomi ||
May our purpose be the same; may we all be of one mind. In order for such unity to form I offer a common prayer.
समानी व आकूति: समाना हृदयानि व: |
समानमस्तु वो मनो यथा व: सुसहासति ||
samanī va ākūtiḥ samānā hrdayāni vaḥ |
samānamastu vo mano yathā vaḥ susahāsati ||
May our intentions and aspirations be alike, so that a common objective unifies us all.
